ABOUT THE ARTIST
Martín Palacios Ylätalo is an artist and craftsman whose practice revolves around working with solid wood as a primary material. His work spans furniture, prints, drawings, paintings, wall finishes and photography, moving naturally between functional objects and artistic expression.
His practice focuses on the intersection between art and lifestyle, exploring how creative processes can be integrated into everyday life through material, form and image. Rather than separating disciplines, his work connects them, treating craft and art as part of the same continuum.
Palacios Felices is an editorial project through which he disseminates historical knowledge using artistic media, translating research and archival material into visual and tangible formats.
