SHIPPING AND SERVICES
Orders within Spain are processed and shipped within 7 business days, with delivery expected in 1 to 7 days, unless otherwise specified.
International orders are processed and shipped within 7 business days and typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the destination.
Each piece, whether artwork or furniture, is sent using a trackable and signed-for delivery service.
Shipping rates are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination address of each item. These costs will be automatically calculated at checkout upon entering your shipping country. Once your order is placed, we’ll provide an estimated delivery timeframe, though exact dates may vary for international shipments. You will receive notifications from the shipping company on the progress of your delivery.
Additional import taxes and duties may apply for buyers outside the European Union.
For urgent orders and special projects, please reach out to us at info@eastwestspace.com. When capacity allows, we can arrange express shipping to meet specific timing needs. For commissioned works or custom furniture, shipping times vary depending on the project and artist’s timeline.
DELIVERY DESTINATION
Please provide a destination address at checkout. If you need to change the delivery address after placing your order, please email us at info@eastwestspace.com. For local customers, there is also an option to pick up orders from EAST WEST in Barcelona, with an additional fee for packaging.
TRACKING
A tracking number will be emailed to you once your package has been dispatched. All deliveries require a signature upon arrival to confirm safe receipt.
PACKAGING
All items are carefully packaged to ensure protection during shipping. Artwork and smaller furniture items are securely wrapped, while larger furniture pieces may require wooden safety crates or custom boxes for added security. Please note that wooden crates are priced separately from standard packaging costs and will be quoted accordingly.
FRAMES
For customers in Spain, we offer framing and customization services for certain pieces. Contact us at info@eastwestspace.com to discuss framing or other finishing options. Due to the fragility and expense associated with international shipping, framed pieces can only be shipped within Spain. Framing incurs an additional service fee and typically adds 15 to 20 business days to the delivery timeline. Custom-framed items are non-returnable.
VAT TAX
For purchases within Spain, a VAT rate of 10% will be applied to artwork and 21% to other products. For purchases within Europe but outside of Spain, VAT will not be applied if the purchasing entity has a registered EORI number. Otherwise, VAT will apply according to the standard rate. For purchases outside of Europe, no VAT will be applied.

TAXES
Customers outside the European Union may be subject to additional taxes, import duties, or handling fees upon entry of the item into their country. These are the buyer’s responsibility, and EAST WEST is not liable for importation legality or fee compliance.
RETURNS
If there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us at info@eastwestspace.com within 12 hours of receiving your item. Please include your name, order details, proof of purchase, and reason for return. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided that all items are returned in their original condition and packaging.
EAST WEST reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria. Customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend using a trackable service to ensure safe arrival and refund processing.

DAMAGED ITEMS
If an item arrives damaged, please photograph the damage, including the packaging, and email the images to us within 12 hours of receipt. In these cases, we will offer a full refund or store credit within 14 days of return. We will also cover return shipping for damaged items.
NON-RETURBABLE ITEMS
Please note that custom-framed items, commissioned works, and custom furniture are not eligible for returns, as they are tailored specifically for the buyer.
CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund or store credit. To request a cancellation, please email us at info@eastwestspace.com.
