INCEPTION
An Immersive Masterclass by

Inception is where it all begins — a masterclass designed for those ready to reimagine and revolutionize the way they approach floral design, space, and imagination.
Over the course of three days, we will work hands-on to create floral sculptures across a range of scales, with a primary focus on large-scale installations — from suspended works to sculptural and spatial pieces that transform the perception of space itself.
Led by Carolin Ruggaber, the sessions draw from her conceptual and artistic approach, emphasizing form, spatial sensitivity and sustainable techniques that bridge nature, design and contemporary art.
The masterclass will take place at EAST WEST SPACE, a cultural venue in Barcelona housed within a 19th-century modernist building — a place where art, design and culture converge. Known for its curatorial dialogue between East and West, the space provides the ideal environment for creative exploration and cross-disciplinary practice.
Whether you’re beginning something entirely new or evolving your creative path, Inception is where that journey begins — an immersive experience where ideas take form, and nature becomes sculpture.

The classes will take part from 9 am until 6 pm with a short coffee break in the morning and a 1h lunch break.
Day 1 — Exploring a Conceptual Approach to Design
5th of February 2026 — 9am until 6pmWe’ll explore into the relationship between design and nature, focusing on sustainable techniques and sculptural expression. The day will include hands-on work that encourages experimentation and creativity.
Day 2 — Deepening the Conceptual Connection: Sculptural Design
6th of February 2026 — 9am until 6pmContinuing our exploration of nature-inspired design, we’ll create and arrange more sculptural works that embrace sustainable methods. Participants will gain insights into new techniques while refining their approach to floral design.
Day 3 — The Grand Installation & Farewell
7th of February 2026 — 9am until 10pmWe’ll create an immersive installation that integrates everything we’ve learned over the past two days. Later, we will celebrate creativity and collaboration as we reflect on our journey and share experiences over some light bites and drinks.
