The FUSION artistic residency in Barcelona marked an unforgettable chapter at EAST WEST, a space where art and design come together to tell unique stories. During this event, our gallery transformed into a creative laboratory where artists from diverse disciplines and backgrounds collaborated to explore the intersections between Eastern and Western cultures.
THE CONCEPT BEHIND FUSION
The idea of Fusion Art Resideny was born out of a desire to celebrate the richness that emerges when different traditions and aesthetics come together. Inspired by our own essence, we aimed to bring together a group of artists who had never met before, from diverse parts of the world, with varied disciplines and artistic backgrounds.
The result was a unique creative experience where each work invited reflection on the connection between the local and the global, the classical and the contemporary. The residency stood out for fostering cultural and artistic exchange, creating a genuine space for collaboration that allowed attendees to discover new perspectives.

Fusion was more than an exhibition; it was a meeting point. Artists, collectors, and design enthusiasts exchanged ideas as they explored the space, with every corner telling a story. The audience's reaction was extraordinary: many highlighted how the works managed to convey universal emotions while preserving the cultural identity of their origins.
EAST WEST SPACE organized the Opening event of the exhibition showcasing the works resulting from the artist residency, featuring talks from each artist explaining their experience and journey during the residency, culminating in a magnificent "vernissage" to thank the audience for their visit and attention to the participating artists.
A LASTING LEGACY
