About the artist

ROBERT POUS

Robert Pous develops his work at the intersection of art and science, exploring the disciplines of physics, philosophy, and art theory. His work is divided into three conceptual lines: "Morphologies of Time", "Morphologies of Space", and "Human Morphologies", where he examines how space and time interweave in human perception.

In "Morphologies of Time," Pous reflects on continuous transformation and the creative process, emphasizing the importance of action and experience in understanding reality. In "Morphologies of Space," he focuses on geometric forms and the duality between emptiness and fullness, using contrast to explore metaphysical and virtual dimensions. Finally, "Human Morphologies" combines space and time, generating a powerful energy where the organic and corporeality emerge through sinuous lines and labyrinths, symbolizing the process of human identity.

Although these three areas are an ongoing investigation, Pous's work, which includes drawings, paintings, and sculptures, is characterized by a deep search for understanding the human nature and the dimensions it inhabits, transforming abstract concepts into visual forms and turning materiality into shapes that evoke memories and movement.

As an artist represented by EAST WEST, Robert Pous continues to explore new frontiers, creating works that speak to contemporary experience while grounding themselves in the timelessness of art history. His involvement with East West ensures that his innovative pieces are accessible to a broader global audience, further solidifying his place in the international art scene.
