EW-WEtalk with Vitor Schietti

"Impermanent Sculptures"

To close the Barcelona Design Week at our EAST WEST space, we invite you to an unmissable talk with renowned Brazilian photographer Vitor Schietti, who will join us on October 26 to share his vision of the art of photography in his series "Impermanent Sculptures."

Schietti is known for his experimental and poetic approach, where light and nature merge ephemerally, creating compositions that transcend reality. During this talk, the artist will explore his unique technique, based on long exposures and the use of fireworks, to capture sculptural forms that vanish within seconds. Additionally, he will unveil the secrets behind his creative processes and reflect on impermanence in art and life.

This event offers a unique opportunity to get up close with a master of contemporary photography, learn about his innovative methods, and immerse yourself in the magic of the ephemeral. A perfect celebration to conclude Barcelona Design Week 2024.

Date: October 26
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: EAST WEST Space, C/ Salvà 30, Barcelona

We look forward to an inspiring encounter where art and technique come together in a unique visual experience!
